Company Profile

UVP is a privately held company created in 1932 to manufacture ultraviolet products. As the leading developer and manufacturer of ultraviolet products, continues to move forward with innovative products that use ultraviolet radiation to perform specific applications and functions across a broad spectrum of industries. Today, growth includes solutions for laboratories and industry, leading the corporation to opportunities in and beyond ultraviolet products applications.

Ultraviolet Products includes UV lamps, UV transilluminators, UV cabinets, UV crosslinkers and UV intensity meters. UVP designs and manufactures the ultraviolet product solutions for applications including criminology, electrophoresis, thin-layer chromatography, sterilization, sanitation, toxicology, inspection, NDT and UV curing.

Laboratory Products is a direct outgrowth of UVP's leading position in the design, development and manufacture of equipment for the scientific marketplace. Closely related technology and applications are being created and produced in the areas of electrophoresis, blotting, hybridization and proteomics.

The Light Source designs custom ultraviolet light sources to specific requirements. The group manufactures low-pressure, mercury, zinc and rare gas, ultraviolet Pen-Ray Lamps for analytical and industrial applications. Sure-Cure medium-pressure, ultraviolet lamps are custom designed and manufactured for OEM UV curing and water disinfection requirements.

UVP's headquarters and manufacturing facility is located in Upland, California. It's European Operations, Ultra-Violet Products Ltd., is located in Cambridge, England. With administrative staff and manufacturing personnel of over 100 employees, UVP provides comprehensive service and support to customers and dealers worldwide.
