iBox® Spectra™ In Vivo Imaging System

Fluorescence in vivo small animal imaging research just got easier! Designed for quick screening and image capture, the iBox Spectra includes a high resolution color camera, a touch screen and a high intensity excitation light source to provide optimal conditions for small animal study. The high resolution camera immediately and clearly identifies the area of interest within the animal. Touch screen technology provides a simple interface for capturing images. The BioLite MultiSpectral Light Source provides excitation of florescent proteins.

Warming Plate

Warming plate provides a platform for maintaining a regulated temperature of small animals to prevent hypothermia. The warming plate supplies a uniform temperature setting to calm the animal while taking pictures.

BioLite MultiSpectral Source

  • The BioLite supplies a direct source using fiber optic bundles and a closed optical path to tightly control the output spectrum for consistent, repeatable measurements
  • Adjust the six-position intensity settings as necessary for the desired intensity output
  • External power supply houses the interchangeable excitation filter
  • Fiber optic light source connects to the darkroom for epi illumination

Camera/Lens

  • High resolution, 12 bit color CCD camera
  • 12.5-75mm f1.2 manual zoom lens
  • Permits a field of view (FOV) of 20 x 26cm

VisionWorks Image Acquisition and Analysis Software
